KBong is a solo singer/songwriter as well as the touring keyboardist for Stickfigure. They were playing the House of Blues in Chicago and he invited me to come hang. We were talking about collabing on this song in the previous months and he told me to bring my gear. After the show KBong, P.Tugz and I went to the tour bus and started having an awesome writing/freestyle session. As soon as he finished his verse we ran up to one of the green rooms and I set up my computer as fast as I could. No mic stand, No pop filter, Condenser mic in hand, in less than 15mins, KBong threw down 4 or 5 takes on loop record. The performances were sick, it felt surreal. Really love the pre-chorus he put down. It's my favorite part of the song.
Swellout is a musician and producer from Florida. She was a fellow student for the Berklee Online courses through Blend.io. I've really enjoyed all her work and we've been able to collab on a few projects. She threw down backing vocals for the chants and a few harmonies throughout the song.
